Another Great Mind Bites The Dust

For as much as I didn't want to believe it, the proof is absolute now. Hans Reiser, a computer genius who was responsible for the creation of the ReiserFS for the Linux community, was convicted of murder back in April has undoubtedly produced proof of his guilt. I had read some of the articles that were written during the trial. The man had a mind that was extremely unique. Albeit, not socially normal. He had a tendency to talk in code. It was simply amazing that a guy could be so in tune with his trade that it would consume every facet of his life. The more I read about the man, the more I wanted to respect him. Unfortunately, this respect has been found to be ill-placed. I didn't want to believe that someone with his gifts and talents would be culpable of such an egregious act.

This genius, convicted of murdering his wife, has proven his involvement in her disappearance. He lead the police to her body. I am not going to recap the article. If you are interested in reading the latest news, you can read Wired's article, "Has Reiser Leads Police to Nina's Body".

For a complete recap of the Reiser Murder Trial, Threat Level, a Wired.com blog, has an entire index of the happenings of the trial in this index.
