Should Actors Be Accountable For Their Known/Anticipated Effects

I'm not going to voice an opinoin to the already present discord.  Instead, I'm just going to provide you with this link to stir your thoughts.

Some kooks want to burn their books, fine let them. They bought them, they own them, they can use them in whatever way they choose.

There are two crimes here, neither of which were committed by the moron in Florida with his book barbecue.

1) The media for giving said moron's message of intolerance and hatred attention. No one was fooled by the intent, he wanted to start trouble. Responsible journalism would not have given him the stage necessary to do so.

2) Religious groups demanding that the entire world view their sacred cow, sky fairy, or magic book with respect and consideration. Then when such demands are ignored turning to violence.
